Life is a tradeoff. The photos are accurate. This is a refined, warm, renovated, art, book and antique-filled, well-cared-for home. This is a grown-ups apt. You are moving into someone's space with all of their stuff, but more-than-adequate room is left for you. The kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances: washer/dryer, refrig, dw. All that you need is provided to use, including new sponges and dish gloves. ( In my experience, many hosts leave behind dirty sponges. Yuch!) Be sure to get clearly understood washing machine instructions. Margaret also left milk, bread, jam, coffee, tea, etc. The apt is light, quiet, garden and tree surrounded on two sides. It is a pleasure to look out the windows. If you have Paris connections, you won't be embarrassed to invite them for lunch/dinner. I loved staying in this apt despite... An elevator that worked for others, not for me. Fortunately, the apt is on the 1st fl. A LR TV was finicky. Yves came quickly to adjust it, and would have come again, but clearly the TV was a problem. However, the BR one worked adequately. Most problematic for me was the long, cardio-beneficial walk to the metro. Easier in the morning than at the end of the day. The #1 line is exceptional, getting easily to desirable Paris locations and transfer points. I would stay here again. It felt homey to me.

We loved the location, the gardens surrounding the appartment. We loved the artistic decoration of this home and felt very safe and welcomed. We were able to park our car practically outside the door. Highly recommend!

Place was very clean and unique in a sense of a traditional french home. Although in the morning you would be waken up by the sound of birds chirping but it was pleasant nonetheless. Yves provided us with bottled water and other amenities which was very thoughtful. A short distanc walk to metro line and bus station that takes us to the city centre in less than 30 mins. there is no A/C but Yves was kind enough to provide us with a small fan when requested which i greatly appreciated. overall, this was a great apartment to stay and would definitely come back again. thank you!

If you are looking for a comfortable, well-appointed, very quiet, conveniently located, and very Parisian place to stay in the west of the city, this is your best option. It’s short walk to M1 metro or a 15-min Uber ride to Arc de Triomphe, yet you can sleep with the windows open and feel like you are in the countryside. This is not your typical IKEA-furnished holiday rental. You will feel like you’re staying with friends, who genuinely care about your comfort and convenience. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this beautiful apartment is 100% accurate. The host, Yves, is very flexible and easy to work with. Staying at this apartment made us feel like "locals". The Ville de Neuilly is an oasis of charm just steps away from the excitement of Paris. I would absolutely love to stay here again.

Super bon séjour. Emplacement idéal pour les lieux touristiques. Quartier calme, safe, pratique avec des commerçants, restaurants. Bel immeuble et belle deco dans l’appartement. Un séjour dans un appartement à la française. On a adoré.
