The space

Welcome to Aldea Thai and this beautiful 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom penthouse. Located in trendy Mamitas Beach, Aldea Thai is very well located between the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean and historic 5th Avenue. Whether you want to head over to the beach, or explore 5th avenue restaurant, bars and shops, you are only a few steps away from either. The Aldea Thai complex has wonderful amenities including an enormous pool with swim-up bar, gym, on-site parking, wifi, 24 hour front desk, valet parking and more.

Once you walk through the front doors of your private penthouse, you will be impressed by the higher end finishings combined with lots of space for you to enjoy. The kitchen comes well equipped with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal after a long day at the beach. The wood cabinets and stone counters that are open to the living space will allow the cook to socialize with everyone during meal prep. For a more formal meal, there is a dinning table to 6 or gather around the sit-up bar for a fun meal full of laughter recounting the memories made that day.

The living space has comfortable seating, a large 4k television and opens onto a balcony overlooking a quieter street. The living room couch will also provide additional sleeping space if needed. This living space is large and a perfect place to gather at the end of the day, relax a bit and discuss plans for that evening!

Head over to the Master Bedroom with king sized bed, large 4k television and beautiful attached bathroom with stone counters, walk-in shower and jetted tub. Your oasis and a place to unwind after a long day in the sun. The master bedroom also has a small balcony overlooking a quieter street. A good place for quiet, morning coffee.

The second bedroom with two double beds has a large television, full bathroom and lots of space for added guests or large families. This well decorated second bedroom also has lots of closet space for added storage.

Now, for the best part of this unit, head up the stairs to your private rooftop terrace. This space is incredibly large and will certainly be where you spend a lot of your time. The private pool is a great place to cool off during hot sunny days or lounge around in the built in, covered seating area. Let's not forget the incredible views!!! During the day time, the sun shimmering off the crystal clear Caribbean waters with rich shades of aqua blue will be an unforgettable sight. The terrace also has additional lounging space for sun bathing and a hammock for relaxing!

Other things to note

There is Kool Beach club located near the condo which does play music during some days. It can be heard at the condo but not within the bedrooms of the penthouse. The parking is not secured, so do not leave any valuable belongings in your car.

***Because many people ask***:
1. Payment- You “submit a booking” which means you pay the full amount now. We do not get paid until after your arrival. There are no cash transactions, and unfortunately you may not put down a deposit.

2. Deposit - Airbnb does not charge the deposit at all unless there is a claim for damages after check-out.

3. Unfortunately, we don’t have more pictures of the house and are unable to send you any more.

4. The site blocks telephone numbers until you have booked your trip, so we are unable to call you.

5. ***Electricity costs are extremely high in Mexico. Any consumption will be charged at a rate of 4 pesos (about 20 US$ cents) per kWh, according to the meter readings at your check-in and check-out. Turning off the air conditioners when out enjoying Playa is usually enough to stay within a very reasonable and cheap consumption.***
