A truly unique newly refurbished maisonette with one bedroom (total surface of 60m2, 600 sq. feet) in the heart of Soho. The maisonette is self contained with its own front door and is arranged over two floors. It has fantastic original features and is meters away from Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus. An incredible place to feel the spirit of London!

The space

The maisonette is arranged on two floors, the living room and kitchen are situated on the first floor and the bedroom is on the second floor. It has been freshly refurbished and all the furniture is brand new.

First floor: Living room / Kitchen
The living room is spacious and very nicely decorated with design furniture. There is an almost separated kitchen next to it with a table which sits 3-4 people and has all the necessary comfort to help you cook your homemade meals.

Second floor: Bedroom: The bedroom is very spacious and has a queen size bed with a brand new mattress and its own fireplace.

Bathroom: The property offers a very spacious bathroom with a larger than average shower room with its own feature fireplace.

Walk-in wardrobe
For additional convenience the bedroom is serviced with a separate walk-in wardrobe.

Sleeping arrangements
The apartment sleeps very comfortably 3 adults or a couple with 2 children. Two persons can sleep in the bedroom (queen size bed) and an adult or two children in the living room which has a convertible sofa bed. I also had guests sleeping 2 adults on the convertible sofa.

House Rules

I want my guests to enjoy my apartment, but here are a few rules which comply with most of the people's common sense. Thank you for taking the time to go through them before your arrival:
1. No smoking inside
2. No pets allowed
3. Please have consideration for neighbors. The apartment must be left in the same condition as they find it, except for normal usage and cleaning. Guest agrees to pay for the replacement of any missing, damaged and/or broken items. For example - cushions, artwork, kitchenware, linens, towels, smoking, new lock if keys lost.
4. Flight delays/cancellations/emergency situations will not result in a refund of money.
5. Internet is offered free of charge. In the unlikely event, this is not working, there will be no refund.
6. ILLEGAL/ ANTI-SOCIAL ACTIVITY: Guest agrees that he/she will not use this apartment to engage in illegal activity or to behave in an anti-social manner. The guest agrees not to throw loud parties or engage in other acts that could cause damage to the property or cause disturbance to the neighbors.
No parties, no birthdays!
Failure to comply with this may result in the immediate exclusion of the guest without any recompense for any future rental paid.
7. KEYS: We normally give one set of keys to the guest. Please do not give out these keys to any other person.
8. At your check-in time, I will take a picture of your ID card/passport and I'll delete it at the end of your holiday

Very cosy, new refurbished and so authentic at the same time two floors apartment. It has everything, even coffee machine and dish machine. The communication with Ivo was always very fast and easy. The place is clean and its situated in the heard of London, Soho district, 5 minutes to Oxford street, surrounded with local shops and restaurants. Highly recommended ?

Flat is exactly as described. The location cannot be better. You are within five minutes to a tube and major attractions. The communication was clear and the flat was very clean. I feel the pictures accurately represent the stay. Thanks Ivo for hosting us! We recommend for a central space in the heart of everything!

Pros: The flat is in a fantastic location. Restaurants and shops are within minutes of walk. Major attractions are within walking distance as well. The host are very easy to communicate and quick in response. The photos do reflect the flat and everything is clean and neat. Would definitely recommend if the location is the priority thing you are looking for. Con: One major item would be the noise level. The flat is in the center of soho so the noise could be predictable. However there is a night club a few steps away - on some nights we could hear people talking and gathering around, police man talking etc. right outside at 3-4am. Also there are some heavy construction works right outside the building in front of us starting at 8am in the morning. I am not a light sleeper and did wear ear plug, but it didn’t help much. I understand that noise level is not something the host could control. But maybe put a note in the description would be really helpful, or mentioned it when I asked about the noise level through messages. Overall a pleasant stay as the location did bring a lot of conveniences for us. Would suggest the host to add a note on the description for the noise so people could be aware of it.

Ivo's place is right in the center of the city!! I saved a lot on transportation money because of it. Where do you want to go? Watch a play? Shopping? Nightlife? They are all a walk away. The apartment is lovely and the bathroom is large, with hot water running smoothly (yes i check on that the minute i arrived). It is December and i don't wanna bathe with cold water lol. Kitchen is very well equipped with toaster, oven, stove, pans, dish washing machine, etc. Really enjoyed cooking dinner there while it was raining outside. M&S supermarket is close by, if you want to buy ingredients. Washing machine with ironing board and hanging rack also coming handy. All in all, this place is gold. Thanks Ivo!

You cannot beat the location of this place . Check in was perfect and our host, Ivo, was always available to answer any questions we had. The apartment is spotless, the bathroom is band new. Our stay was perfect, thank you so much Ivo!

We had a wonderful time staying at Diana’s apartment. This is literally THE BEST location in London, we even extended our stay because our experience was super awesome at this place. The apartment is in the heart of the glowing carnaby street. We were staying in the middle of everything; shopping, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Everything you need is within a short walkable distance; oxford, regent street and Soho are within a 3 minute walk and all the nightclubs are like 5 minute walk. The underground and bus station are also a 4 minute walk, but we didnt need to use them alot, because location is already great. Diana is an amazing host, she is very responsive, friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at her apartment the next time. The apartment is also fully equipped with everything u need during ur stay, as if ur staying home :) Thank you Diana for allowing us to have this wonderful experience.

Excellent little British style flat right in the centre of London. Convenient to go everywhere by tube or on foot. The flat is really clean and cozy with big full function bathroom. I love this place! Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic place. Location is superb and much larger than other 1 bedroom flats. It can easily accommodate 3 adults. For families with little kids or elderly adults, must ask Diana about the stairs and steps around the flat. Staying here one will save tons on transportation, everything is walking distance and the best area for food.

We stayed for 8 nights in Diana's flat and it was amazing. The location is in Carnaby Street, Soho so if you are looking for a central location that is well sized and in the midst of all the hustle and bustle then look no further. Here are some more details of the place and our stay. Location This is as central as possible with just a few minute walk to Regent and Oxford Street. The house itself is in a really lively area with cafe's, bars, shops and restaurants right under and within few steps walking distance. There is one caveat is that because it's such a popular area it can be noisy at night but we did not mind that at all. However, light sleepers need to be aware that this is not a very quiet street until midnight or so. On the flip side, if you are tired from all the sightseeing you don't have to go very far to eat or grab a drink because everything is literally a 5-7 min walk. Tube Access There are two main tube stations that you can use near the place. There is Oxford Street on Bakerloo and Central line and Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly line. Both these stations are around a 7-10 min walk. Space Unlike a hotel or an apartment this place is a maisonette so it is built over two floors. This means there is a lot of space which for Central London hotels/apartments is rare. Because it's on two floors you will need to carry your suitcases up two narrow flight of stairs but it is a small inconvenience in comparison to the large space you get inside the flat. The living room and kitchen are on one level and the bedroom and bathroom are on the next level. Amenities Diana has used some very good amenities in her flat. The kitchen is open plan with a high end kettle, oven and dishwasher. There is a mini fridge as well. The best part is the large size bathroom with great fixtures including a rain shower as well. Communication It was always very easy to get in touch with Diana and she was very quick to respond to any queries we had. The heating in the place is very strong and we had a very comfortable stay. If given a chance we would definitely stay again.

Nice and tidy place to stay, with a super location! Nice kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and good linens, but pop up bed offered left a bit to be desired in case there are 3 of you staying. Location can't be beat for access to Soho - really lovely.

Great host, communicative, ease of check-in was very good, the space was fantastic and the location was truly magical. I would recommend this space any day. I always stay at 5 star hotels and Diana made our first Airbnb experience seamless. I will be renting this space again on my next London trip....

Diana is an efficient host who communicated well from booking to check-out. The apartment is clean and functional, but was a snug fit for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). The apartment is accessed by a tight staircase from ground level and there is another set of stairs between the living area and bedroom. The bathroom is also on the top floor adjacent to the bedroom. The living area, landing and bedroom also have a step in them, so this is not the place for people with mobility issues or very young children. The apartment is in a great location, although subtly different to the one advertised on the listing, apparently for security reasons. We were, however, repeatedly asked to lie about being AirBnB guests and to tell anyone who asked that we were friends of the owner.

One of the best airbnb experience I have ever had. Location is pretty good, I mean you are literally 2 steps away from great restaurants, bars and stores. Place was very clean and had good amenities. We were even provided with universal adopters which saved us big time. We were a party of 3 and were able to fit in well, two stayed in the bedroom and one in the sofa. bathroom was clean, heaters work well and everything was in short perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Diana's place. The maisonette is on two floors, on the first floor kitchen+small sitting room and upstairs, a spacious bedroom and a large bathroom. I always pay a lot of attention to general cleanliness, especially kitchen and bathroom: and I have to say the flat was spotless and extremely clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you might need to prepare healthy meals, with brand new appliance. The bathroom is in perfect conditions throughout, with a huge shower. Every room boasts its own chimney (not working but it's a nice feature). I stayed with my two children and there was enough space for everyone. The location is unbeatable, in the very heart of the West End , a stone's throw from Soho - my favourite district in London- and at walking distance from all the major attractions: Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Madam Tussaud's, Chinatown can be reached in 10 minutes or so. We walked to Buckingham Palace and the House of Parliament. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy and cosy place in the very centre of London. Five stars!!!

Fantastic location, pristine apartment, all very up to date, lovely kitchen and bathroom facilities. Suits four people well with three in bedroom and one on sofa bed. On Sunday night there was some noise at midnight but it is soho and it got moved along in 30mins

This space was perfect. The location is so close to so many amazing shops and restaurants, as well as the Underground lines, making it easy to navigate to other parts of the city. It was more than I ever could have imagined!

As we arrived in London earlier than the stipulated checked in time, Diana allowed us to store our luggages at her apartment. We were also pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the apartment was ready by then for us to check in. Overall, the location of the apartment was fantastic, as it was near where the action were, be it shopping or finding food in restaurants and cafes! It was literally a few steps away! The metro were also located minutes away, making it convenient to travel to other parts of the city :) The apartment was very clean and spacious for the four of us to live in, the bathroom located at the upper level was really quite huge. Just a little note about the location, as it was conveniently located near pubs and restaurants, do expect the area to be busy at night. Regardless, we did not find it an issue and enjoyed ourselves there :) Definitely recommend this strongly! Thanks Diana!
